We are introducing a lot of nice and useful functionality in Confrere with this release. Please see the sections below for more information about each new feature.
Landing page
We are adding a landing page for visitors. This is an "old-new" feature in the sense that's how the log-in flow used to be in Confrere´s older versions. The landing page is reached via a general URL (https://[customer name].confrere.com).
This is the updated log-in flow for visitors:
- Clicks on the link (https://[customer name].confrere.com) and
enters the landing page, and - Selects from a list of lobbies (can be a physician's or the name of the department) where he/she has an appointment.
3. Authenticate his/herself, and
4. Enters the lobby
We will keep the possibility to invite visitors straight into the lobby as well with a specific URL.
Get notified (via SMS and email) when a guest is waiting in the lobby
It's now possible to get a notification via SMS and email when a guest is waiting in the lobby. In that way, you will not miss if someone is waiting!
How to
1. Go to Your account by clicking on your name when you have logged in
2. Go to Notifications, and
3. Select Receive a text message when a visitor enters the queue for SMS messages and Receive an email when a visitor enters the queue for emails. Note that you will have to add your phone number in Edit profile to be able to receive SMS.
Customise your own SMS message to visitors
As of this release, it will be possible to send customised SMS to visitors, both for invitations and for testing the equipment and software before the meeting.
How to
1. Log in and go to the Dashboard.
2. Select Send invitations for sending invites and Check that everything works for sending tests to visitors.
3. Select Text message
4. Write the message (note that you can view a preview of the message)
5. Send
Additional fixes
- The counter for how long a visitor has waited in the lobby has now been changed to start after the visitor has ended pre-flight (checking camera, sound, mic, and camera). Previously, the counter started before the pre-flight step and could give the impression that the guest had waited longer than he/she actually had.
