Video meeting
- We just added real-time emoji reactions in the video meeting so participants can quickly express feedback and making sessions feel more interactive. This is default on for portal and is available as an option for all other products.
Portal
- Ability to configure our feature for pause meeting for administrators. The feature of pause meeting gets activated if a meeting organizer unexpectedly leaves (for example due to network issues). This have previously been on org level, but can now be configured per lobby in portal

Fallback to backup provider for AI LLM calls. This improves availability should one of our providers experience downtime.

We're adding european transcription and AI summaries (only for customers who it opt-in)
- Transcription and AI summaries (note that we only use European providers under European legal control, no US based services). For now, available for all customers but needs to be enabled by the owner from portal in Settings > Security
- Transcription and summaries have adjustable data retention (using the organizations existing settings) and privacy masking of PII data like SSN, phone number and email addresses.
How to get started with AI transcription
The feature is optional at the organizational level and can be enabled by your owner through your meeting portal.
You start the transcription within the meeting by clicking Transcribe.
Once the meeting has ended, you will find the transcription and summary under Meeting Summaries on the homepage.
New background images

We have added more background images, making it easier to create a more neutral and professional meeting environment, no matter where you are.
To add a background image, go to Settings in the video meeting (reachable from the preview screen before you join or within the video meeting)
Display of hand-raise order

When multiple participants raise their hands, the order is now clearly displayed, both in the participant list and directly in the video tiles. This makes it easier to moderate meetings and maintain a clear speaking order.
For meeting hosts: Option to turn off meeting partcipant's video
Meeting hosts can now choose to turn off video for guests, which can be useful in larger meetings or when limiting the number of video streams. We have also made several stability improvements to Video, including reducing issues where participants’ video was previously not displayed correctly.

You can now see an overview of today’s scheduled meetings directly in the portal. -
Schedule invite
It is now possible to schedule meetings and send calendar invites in advance.Please note: These features require data storage to be enabled. Users can choose how many days data should be stored in: Settings -> Security and Integrity -> Data Storage. -
New display name options in your profileWe’ve expanded the display‑name settings in My Profile so you can control how you appear in meetings. In addition to Full name and Custom name, you can now choose:
- Full name + title
- Anonymous
Your current choice is preserved, and you can change it anytime in My Profile. Note: When you select Anonymous, other participants will see “Anonymous”, while you still see your own name on your screen. - Other improvements related to accessibility and minor fixes.

- Meetings now use mono sound by default. This is in line with industry best practices and ensures a more stable and consistent audio experience across devices and varying network conditions.

The portal frontend now dynamically sets the <html lang="..."> attribute based on the user’s selected language, improving accessibility and localization.
Bug fixes
- Fixed an issue where participants could not see each other when reusing a previously created meeting room. In these cases, the participant counter was incorrect, and no attendees were visible in the list or on video.
- Fixed an issue where a shared screen could get stuck if the sharer left the meeting.
- Fixed an issue where participants’ video tiles were not displayed correctly during screen sharing. For example, on Safari with many participants, some visible attendees disappeared from the layout even though they remained in the participant list.
- Fixed an issue preventing customers from adding or editing team members, where form fields were not active or editable.

Delete Invitations: Admins and users can now delete created invitations directly in the portal.
Dynamic Information Banners: Introduced a new way to share information via banners on the dashboard, waiting room, and login page — this will make us be better in proactive communications for example if any services is down. So we reach all of the customers, and also visitors in waiting room.

Preflight
No camera device detected: When a user performs a preflight test without any connected camera, they will now be able to proceed into the meeting without requiring a camera.
Portal/Authentication of visitors

SMS Authentication Visibility: If SMS authentication is not enabled at the organizational level, the related page and the option to add visitors will now be hidden.
Portal: Visitor Notifications

Lobby notification timing: Organizers and users in the portal or meeting are now notified that a visitor is in the lobby only after the visitor has completed the preflight test.
Previously, notifications appeared immediately after authentication, which could cause confusion and make it seem like the visitor hadn’t joined.
Portal: Usability improvements
List and Search Updates: Updated the design and performance of list and search functionality for organizations with a large number of lobbies and users.
Cancel Button Removed: The Cancel button under Your Account > Language has been removed, as navigation should now only occur through the main menu.

Video stability improvements
Over the past few months, our development team has been working on a major refactoring of the video meeting experience. This work has primarily focused on improving internal code quality and optimizing CPU usage on mobile devices. These improvements are largely behind the scenes but will result in better performance and a smoother experience, especially during resource-intensive meetings.
Additional Fixes and Optimizations
Bug fix related to active speaker handling in multi-page meetings. Previously, video tiles could jump to the top-left corner of the main page when someone started speaking before returning to their original page.

Expand Button (Screen Sharing): Fixed an issue where the expand button during screen sharing did not function correctly.
Spotlight Freeze: Fixed a problem where video could freeze during spotlight mode, improving reliability in larger meetings.
