New features:
New guest login flow
As of this release, we have shortened the number of steps and “clicks” a guest needs to make to enter the video meeting. We have made these changes to ensure it is quick and easy for a guest to enter the lobby/meeting.
How the guest enters the lobby
1) Allow access to the camera and microphone for the website.
If it is the guest’s first time using the service in the browser, the guest may also need to give access in the browser.
2) Select and test devices:
- camera
- microphone
- speaker
Note that in this step, it is also possible to turn off the camera, test the microphone, and test the speaker.

Start a meeting in the portal
As of this release, it will be possible to start a direct meeting in the portal with a guest waiting in the lobby, as well as start a meeting with several guests waiting in the lobby.
How to start a direct meeting in the portal
1) Select “Start meeting” with the guest you want to start the meeting with.
Note that both you and the guest will enter the meeting simultaneously, but the person who completes their video settings will enter the meeting first.
How to start a meeting with several people in the portal
1) Click “Select multiple”
2) and choose who you want to bring into the meeting by checking the boxes.
3) Select “Start meeting with selected”
Note that it is still possible to start a meeting without participants by selecting “Start empty meeting.” You will then enter an empty meeting, and you can admit participants into the meeting one by one.
Bug fixes:
- We have fixed the reported issue where users would sometimes land on a blank page and need to reload to proceed.
- The guest’s name has been removed from notifications (email and SMS) regarding who is waiting in the lobby. From now on, it will say “A visitor is waiting in the lobby”.
