Starting a meeting can be stressful, especially if you’re unsure about how devices like your camera, microphone, or speakers are connected. If you’re connecting from an office network, firewalls can also cause issues.
You can ensure everything works before your video meeting starts directly from the Control Panel. You can also choose to send the test to your visitor to provide the best preparation.
- Test to see yourself
- We play a test sound to ensure you and your visitors will hear each other.
- Your microphone is tested automatically. If we don't detect any sound, we help you resolve the issue.
- We check if any firewall is blocking and that the network connection is strong enough on all ends.
Notified that a Firewall is Blocking?
A firewall is blocking your connection to the video meeting. This is common if you are connecting from an office network and your organization has closed off outgoing traffic. To connect from the current network, your organization must open the firewalls required to send audio and video over the internet. More information about this is available in our technical specifications.
To solve the problem in the short term, try connecting from another network, such as a mobile network.
Received a Notification that Your Network Doesn't Pass the Test?
Follow the advice you get during the test. If you know your network is good, it could be due to several factors, such as an active VPN connection. We recommend using the video meeting without a VPN.
