What is required of us as customers during the transition?
Reactivation of BankID.
If your organization previously used BankID as the authentication method for team members, it needs to be reactivated. To continue logging in with BankID, you or your team members need to add information again through an owner or administrator under team members. Each team member can also add their information themselves under Your Profile.
Upon first login after migration:
- Upon first login after migration, you will need to log in using your email and password.
- After the first login, you can re-activate BankID by following “Using BankID” below.
Log in using email and password
You can log in using your email address and password. BankID will not work immediately after migration and needs to be activated, see step 2.
Forgot your password?
Click on “Forgot password”, and enter the email address you last used to log in to Confrere. Click the "reset password" button.
Not sure which email address you have registered?
- For team members: Contact your organization's owner or administrator to find out which email address is linked to you.
- For owners/administrators: Are you the owner or administrator of the account and unsure which email address is linked to your account? Contact support.
Activate BankID
Are you using BankID as your login method?
If you currently use BankID as your login method, you need to follow the steps below to continue using BankID. If you use your email and password to log in, you can skip this step.
For team members:
Once logged into the portal, click on your name in the top right corner and then select Edit Profile:
Enter your personal identification number (make sure to select the Swedish flag for Swedish BankID, Norwegian flag for Norwegian BankID, or Danish flag for MitID). Then click save.
You can now continue to log in using BankID.
For Owners/Administrators:
If you are an owner or administrator, you can add BankID for other team members yourself.
Go to Team in the top navigation and then select Team members
Here you can see an overview of all team members and whether they have entered a personal identification number for BankID or not:
Select the person you want to add a personal identification number for by clicking Edit on the right:
Enter the personal identification number (Make sure to select the Swedish flag for Swedish BankID, Norwegian flag for Norwegian BankID, or Danish flag for MitID). Then click save.
The person can now log in using BankID.
(Possible) Firewall configuration.
If you know you have specific firewall settings tailored for Confrere, these may need to be updated as follows to ensure compatibility with Compodium's platform:
-
For audio and video, set the outbound UDP port to 3478.
-
To specify a destination, use turn.compodium.com.
-
For web traffic and user authentication, set the outbound TCP ports to 80 and 443.
If you're unsure about your settings, you can test if the video meeting works via preflight.compodium.com.
Product Functionality: New and Upcoming!
New: From personal waiting rooms to lobbies
We're expanding the concept of waiting rooms to lobbies. Your previous meeting links will continue to work as before but are now translated to function as a lobby. A lobby is a digital waiting room where you invite your visitors. The lobby has a permanent link, making it easy to integrate into email signatures, booking systems, or web pages. Visitors wait in the lobby until you or a team member lets them in. You can have a private lobby or share it with team members to view and start meetings with waiting visitors. This also enables functionality for Drop-In (with queueing system) and allows you to send messages to the user waiting in the lobby (e.g., "I'll be 5 minutes late!").
New: Enhanced Statistics
As an Owner or Administrator, you will now receive expanded data and statistics in the product. You can track statistics for each lobby, user, and see when your team members log in and start meetings.
New: See if your team members are online or in a meeting
Through team members online, you can easily see who in your team is logged in simultaneously as well as whether they are available or busy in a meeting. You can also easily start a meeting directly there.
New: Add an image to your login for your organization or guests
New: Ability to use custom authentication (e.g., SAML integration)
If your organization prefers to use its own IDP solution, we also offer that through SAML. For an updated list of authentication methods, read more at docs.compodium.com.
New: SMS authentication for visitors
The service offers the option of SMS codes for visitors who may not have access to higher-level authentication methods.
New: Now you can also choose between Freja eID or SITHS login for visitors or the team
Meeting participants can confirm their identity with, for example, Swedish BankID, Norwegian BankID, MitID, and now also Freja e-ID and SITHS.
New: Swedish Cloud
With the upgrade to Compodium's platform, your data will be stored in a Swedish cloud, meaning no data leaves Sweden or is shared with unauthorized parties. All data is handled according to strict Swedish privacy laws to ensure the highest possible protection. This gives you as a user full control and confidence in your personal data.
Coming Soon: Customize appearance under Settings, your authentication, and payment details under Settings (for Owners)
Soon, you'll be able to view and modify your billing, change subscriptions, customize appearance, and add authentication methods for guests/your team directly from Settings.
If you need to make changes before this is in place, contact our support at support@compodium.com and we'll be happy to assist.
Coming Soon: Updated design in the video meeting
A new, more user-friendly design is coming.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will there be any difference in price or billing?
No, all pricing plans remain unchanged and there is no difference in billing procedures.
I've sent invitations to meetings on the old platform, will my visitors be able to use the sent link?
Yes, all sent links to your waiting rooms, now lobbies, will continue to work as before.
I have a visitor in my lobby. How do I invite them to a meeting?
Click Start Meeting and then invite the participant to the meeting via the video meeting view. Read more on Invite and start a meeting.
What is a lobby?
A lobby is a digital waiting room where you invite your visitors. The lobby has a permanent link, making it easy to integrate into email signatures, booking systems, or web pages. Visitors wait in the lobby until you or a team member lets them in. You can have your own lobby or share it with team members to view and start meetings with waiting visitors. Owners and Administrators can adjust the settings for a lobby. You can see all the lobbies you belong to on the dashboard. In Confrere, previous personal links are transferred to a lobby with only one user associated with it, so this will function as before.
Can I create a new lobby or add team members to my own lobby?
Yes, Owners create new lobbies via Team > Lobby. Each organization can set up one or more lobbies for different purposes and assign team members to them. You can decide how you want to manage this.
What is the difference between a personal and main link?
A main link means the link to the lobby is always the same and can be used multiple times. If no main link is selected, personal links are used instead, which may be limited by number of clicks or time period.
Where do I log in?
You and your team log in as usual at the login link for your organization, e.g., companyname.confrere.com.
Will all my team members and organization be automatically transferred?
Yes, your team and associated settings such as appearance, authentication method, and links will continue to function.
