Is Your Computer's Operating System Blocking Screen Sharing?
For devices using MacOS Catalina or newer, Apple requires the user to grant specific system access to programs or browsers to share the screen. You may need to review this by following the steps below:
- Open System Preferences on your Mac.
- Go to the Privacy and Security section.
- Scroll down to "Screen Recording" and ensure your chosen browser is approved. You may need to click the lock to unlock the ability to make changes.
- Once you have ensured your browser has access, close the browser and reopen it to activate the new settings.
